Yom Hashoah

(Holocaust Remembrance Day)

Yom Hashoah also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day is a day of remembrance. This is the day that we remember the Shoah (catastrophe, utter destruction - Hebrew) that was inflicted on the Jewish and other communities during World War II. The Holocaust was the most horrific moment in time, where an entire nation of people were being annihilated from the face of the Earth. On Yom Hashoah, the Jewish community and others join together to light a yellow candle in remembrance of the six million people who perished during the Holocaust. Please join us with your candle as we present a video to honor those who perished during this time.
