Theater of Hope:
A Season of Pause and a Step Toward the Future
Cormorant Garamond is a classic font with a modern twist. It's easy to read on screens of every shape and size, and perfect for long blocks of text.
At Theater of Hope, we believe that growth sometimes requires stillness.
After much prayer, planning, and thoughtful discussion, our Board of Directors and leadership team have made the intentional decision to enter a temporary operational pause as we prepare for the next chapter of our organization.

Why a Pause?
This pause is not an ending — it is a strategic and purposeful reset.

Over the past several years, Theater of Hope has grown into a vibrant nonprofit serving families, students, and volunteers through the performing arts. As we look ahead, this season allows us to focus on thoughtful planning, responsible stewardship, and long-term sustainability as we prepare for future programming.Taking this time ensures that when Theater of Hope returns to production, it does so with clarity, strength, and a structure that supports our mission well into the future.
Looking Ahead: Relocation to Waxahachie
As part of our forward planning, Theater of Hope is preparing for a future relocation to Waxahachie, Texas.
This next phase includes exploring the right environment for our programs to grow — whether that is through a dedicated facility or a partnership with a local community space. Our priority is finding a location that aligns with our values, supports families, and allows our mission to flourish. While details are still being thoughtfully developed, our leadership team is actively working behind the scenes to evaluate options and build a sustainable path forward.
What This Means for Our Community
-
Theater of Hope remains an active nonprofit organization
-
Leadership and planning efforts continue during the pause
-
No current programming is being produced during this season
-
Updates will be shared as plans progress
-
Most importantly, our mission remains unchanged. Students, families, and the community continue to be at the heart of everything we do.
